Contents resemble a school yearbook, with small clear b&w photoportraits laid out some twenty to a page, each picture numbered to correspond with brief prose entries sitting opposite, giving full name, parentage, birthdate, rank, dates of intake and discharge. Front endsheet bears a pictorial vignette in brown ink and gilt, find a few more decorations in color amongst initial and terminal leaves. Generally sound; joint-lines and bottom rim are mildly abraded with fabric showing slightly, textblock edges slightly toned and dusty, Item is not only sound but clean and unmarked, a near-fine copy.
