Milwaukee WI: Made by E.C. Kropp Co for the US Army, circa 1940. Postcard. Eighteen colorized plates on a long leaf, nine per side, in a color pictorial folder with fastener slot - the fastener never taped though item was stamped, addressed, and sent through the mails. Exterior mildly edgeworn with neat holograph address & return and brief message within (sender had good handwriting). Nice exemplar; note, only one single "postcard", the 18 plates being double-sided. The fort, FYI, was named after a Confederate. Rural, a pretty place with its own railroad, 24 miles long.
