For his best-selling book "Undercover," John Roy Carlson (pen name of Arthur Derounian) had posed as a far-right sympathizer in order to get access to the world of American fascism. This piece is a response, accusing him of duplicity, fabrication, and mixing "legitimate" far-right groups with Nazi sympathizers. Questions the author's own background, as an Armenian immigrant who allegedly supported Armenia's absorption into the USSR. Reprinted from the National Republic, August, 1943.
