Heald-Menerey's Geographical Commercial and Recreational Map Oregon.
Portland, OR: Heald-Menerey Co., Inc., n.d., est: 1930. map. Wall map of Oregon in colors backed with thick linen, machine-folded to book size, and sandwiched into an 8x5inch calf-covered case (gilt-titled) now coming apart with tears and chips and severe edgewear. The terminal side of this linen "accordion" is glued to the case, and cannot be easily thrown away. Map is conventional, but once unfolded is kinda nice; folds look sound, linen verso is dotted thoroughly with dots of foxing and dust, but that problem doesn't show recto-ly (our new coinage). First-issue price is printed, map cost six dollars when new. We could not find printed dating but our consigner pencilled "1930", so 1930 it is.
