Began publication as San Francisco Bay Times in 1978. In 1979 rebranded as Coming Up! a four to eight page calendar of events with reviews and advertising. In 1981 Kim Corsaro took the helm and expanded the paper eventually rebranding again back to San Francisco Bay Times in 1989.
