The Peace and Freedom Party obtained ballot status in California and worked with the Black Panthers, who ran candidates under its banner. This brochure asks the reader to vote for Huey Newton, then in prison, for Congress, Bobby Seale for Assembly, Mario Savio for State Senate, etc. "The Peace and Freedom Movement in coalition with the Black Panthers is trying to unite whites and blacks to fight together for real control over the economic and political institutions that oppress and exploit us all."
