Socialism and the home
Chicago: Charles H. Kerr & Company, [circa 1908 -1909]. Pamphlet. 27, [iii]p. plus ads, wraps, front panel of the plain red glassine wraps is chipped but present rear panel and spine are missing, paper browned, 3.5x5.75 inches. *Buhle 222 Pocket library of socialism, no. 28.
Appears in two versions, one with author's name as May Walden Kerr. Deletion of Kerr reflects republication after she separated from her husband Charles Kerr in 1904 (publisher's address is 153 Kinzie, thus 1908 - 1909). Walden argues for cooperative living as a solution to the housewife's drudgery.
