Credo, and Affirmation [inscribed & signed chapbook]

Brackley, Northants (Northamptonshire): Self-published by the author at Smart & Co. Printers, [1976?]. 23p., 5.5x8.5 inches, notes, bookplate of fashion designer Hardy Amies on inside front cover, personal inscription to Hardy dated 15.xii.1977, very good chapbook in stapled pink wraps.

Hardy Amies was a designer for Queen Elizabeth II and spent WWII as a saboteur for the Resistance in Belgium. And he was gay. Kim Philby was in his mess, and on being asked what the infamous spy was like, Hardy quipped, "He was always trying to get information out of me—most significantly the name of my tailor."
