London: Boriswood, Ltd., 1935. Hardcover. 428p., stamped Special Colonial Edition on the title page, cocked else good first UK edition in dark blue buckram boards with red titles on spine, price-clipped, toned dj with closed tears.

Originally published by Doubleday in 1934. The second novel in the Vridar Hunter tetralogy, preceded by "I See No Sin." Erotic novel which follows Vridar Hunter's college years and the ensuing dissolution of mind and body. Fisher was an ex-Mormon who worked on the Federal Writers Project of the WPA penning the book on Idaho. He was a prolific author of westerns; his later book "Mountain Men" was adapted to the screen.
The publisher Boriswood, a leftist publishing house specializing in sexually provocative materials, existed only 7 years between 1931 and 1938 . The house struggled from 1935 to 1938 due to losing an obscenity trial over James Hanley's "Boy" (Young 1694), one of their first titles.
The stamp likely meant that the copy was bound for the Colonies in India, Africa etc.
