Lindbergh argues against going to war with Germany, stating that England is in an unwinnable position against Germany even with American help. He hearkens back to his father's role in arguing against participation in WW I. The America First Committee was the largest isolationist group in the run-up to US participation in the war; critics lambasted the repackaging of German propaganda and anti-Semitic tropes by some of its representatives.
