Paul Krassner, the Realist, and $crap plus a P.S. on it
San Francisco: Ahab Press, 1964. 15p., mimeographed recto-only, side-stapled 8.5x7 inch oblong yellow wraps with printed titling, this revised edition has an added foreword; faint vertical crease.
Anti-Krassner rant originally published in 1963 by the author, which has been revised and an explanatory preface added. He claims Krassner and the Realist to be anti-peace-movement despite feigning a humanist approach. His dislike and distrust extends to Playboy Magazine and its imitators, as well as to Lenny Bruce (whom he considers an untalented hate-filled man propped up by Krassner and Hefner).
The rant was initiated by The Realist's ignoring a lead on a story Hawkins suggested, and the author's subsequent discovery that Krassner was involved with such magazines as Nugget, Caper and Rogue.
