Address by Charles A. Lindbergh. New York, April 23, 1941

Chicago: America First Committee, 1941. 14p., staplebound pamphlet, very good. Inside of front cover has a red pencil note that it was obtained from the AFC in Chicago.

Lindbergh argues against going to war with Germany, stating that such a war would be unwinnable, whereas no nation would ever succeed at attacking the United States. He calls for the isolationist pursuit of an "independent American destiny." The America First Committee was the largest isolationist group in the run-up to US participation in the war; critics lambasted the repackaging of German propaganda and anti-Semitic tropes by some of its representatives.
