Anutu Conquers in New Guinea; A story of seventy years of mission work in New Guinea

Columbus, OH: The Wartburg Press, 1957. Paperback. 272p., numerous b&w photos both contemporary and period, and folded map. Softbound in 7.5x5.5 inch decorated wraps. Rather shabby, with silverfishing and dustsoil to covers, front hinge weak, textblock edges tanned and dusty. But text is all there and quite handleable, and the only marking is an Australian seller's fiche. Reading copy. A word on the map: it is large (15x11.5 inches), slightly torn, and uniquely odd, showing a portion of NW New Guinea with the only detailing being crosses that indicate general locations of some thirty "missions", all Lutheran. Quite a saturation!

FYI, the word "Anutu" is a northeastern name for God, now also indicating Christ.
