Milano: Stamperia Mondaini [for] Atlantic Refining Company of Italy-Genova, undated, late 1920s. Fourteen (14) maps in colors with onlay routings in red, numbered #40-53 consecutively. Each map measures 17x10.5 inches, all are bent (not creased) in half nesting together, this bundle enclosed in a printed sur-folder. Enclosing folder has a key to map-reading and a huge Atlantic Oil notice on one side, and ads for auto supplies and refreshments on the other. The maps are a little dust-soiled but sound, the folder edgeworn but serviceable.
As to dating, no earlier than 1925 per a textual allusion to a legal convention.
