Fat hardbound, 9.5x6.5 inches and fully 3.5 thick, pagination runs 70, [71]-2192, [1]-168 advertising section on color paper + [I]-xxxix index. Expertly recased using original boards, with spine panel laid down on maroon buckram. Looks and feels sound and square. Endsheets are new, and not very good. The first few textblock leaves are edgeworn, the rest hardly at all (all edges brushed and sanded), but item has repeatedly been soiled with handling; many pages bear little splotches. The ads are conservative with just a little color.
