Chinese Book Arts and California
San Francisco: Printed by Eric Holub, Hillside Press, for the Book Club of California, 1989. Twelve folders with text, a few illustrations and spot-color decoration. Complete contents, but lacks the enclosing box, and the first folder has picked up some faint soil. Topics touch on Chinese newspapers, postcards of Chinatown, cookbooks, calligraphy, art of course, a special 1930s production of Harte's satirical poem 'The Heathen Chinee', and more. Keepsake.
