Staplebound. 363 issue numbers in total, with many double-issues, spanning the period from June 1946 to March 2000; various pagination, corner stapled, 8.5x11 inch sheets, by 1969 staple became bound along spine with two staples. Throughout, handling wear, mildly toned edges and slightly rusted staples with some migration, some soil throughout, a few issues with pen underlining, all especially found in earlier issues. More specifically, vol. 14, no. 6, has pencil underlining; vol. 15, no. 11 is coffee stained; vols. 61 through 63 have 3 hole punches through the spine. Otherwise most issues are good to very good.
The Labor Research Assn. was the economic investigating unit for the Communist Party USA though it was organizationally and formally independent of it. Notable among its directors were Alexander Trachtenberg, Solon De Leon (son of Daniel De Leon) and Scott Nearing.
