Program for the event, which was held at the "Christian Street bombed out site (off Commercial Road)" on July 6th and 7th, 1946. Includes a piece by Piratin outlining his accomplishments since election, and an overview of activity in "Red Stepney." Piratin had been one of the organizers of the 1936 "Battle of Cable Street," in which anti-fascists stopped a march through a largely Jewish neighborhood by Oswald Mosley and the British Union of Fascists.
