"L'Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes" [article in] L'Illustration, 25 Avril 1925 [whole number 4286]
Paris: the magazine. Article is unpaginated, about forty pages, previews the fair-to-be with artists' renderings in excellent color-work, and b&w and sepia. Entire 16x12 inch magazine, cover rather rough with burst areas to spine and missing chips, plus general edgewear. Interior sound and clean, free of any markings. Find numerous b&w automobile ads for vehicle marques we've never heard of. The Fair was a success; one source pronounces it the origin of the now-standard term "art deco"
