San Francisco: the G.G.I.E., 1937. 16p., coated alkaline paperstock, a folio-size pamphlet stapled into 14x10 inch self-wraps, illustrated with numerous b&w photographs many aerial (work in progress: dredging etc.), modernist layout with tint-blocks amidst the double-column text and a terrific centerfold double-spread of How It Will Look in '39. This centerfold is based on an architectural model (cost ten thousand dollars!), against an actual huge photo of surrounding hills and water, plus artistic twiddlings.) Item is in improbably nice shape, given its size and vulnerability to damage: we see slightest edgewear with lower corner-tip faintly turned, glossy cover still glossy, entirely clean and unmarked.. gosh what a bargain.
