CHA was one front for the cult-like National Labor Federation (NATLFED), in turn the public front of the Communist Party USA (Provisional) Order of Lenin, led by Jerri Doeden, who adopted the revolutionary pseudonym Eugenio Perente and a mythical biography to accompany it.
