Various pagination, 8.25x11 inches, staplebound, all worn, all with rusted staples, some small stains and small closed tears, Vol. 4 No. 1 with wraps detached but present, Vol. 5 No. 1 with pen underlining on pp35/36 and with wraps coming loose, Vol. 5 No. 3 and Vol. 6 No. 1 with wraps coming loose, Vol. 6 No. 1 with unevenly toned and hearvily worn rear wrap else generally good condition.

Coverage of national and international issues. The August 1945 issue has a cover story on the bombing of Hiroshima, arguing that "those who wield such destructive power are outcasts from humanity." Other contributers include George Orwell, Bertram D. Wolfe, James Agee, Victor Gollancz, Simone Beauvoir, Albert Camus, Georges Bataille, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Paul Goodman.
