Paris: Etablissements A. Claverie, no date, circa 1920. 28p., matte paperstock, alkaline, illustrated with four fullpage color plates each tissue-guarded, each of a type of prosthetic leg, plus diagrams and stats, plus idealized sketches of maimed persons happily at work, plus numerous sepia vignettes in altered photography showing interiors of the factory and craftspeople at work. A large pamphlet in 10.5x7 inch textured salmon wraps decorated and lettered copperfoil. Covers have picked up a little handling-soil and dust, slight general edgewear with an inchlong bump to one corner affecting every leaf. Otherwise clean and sound, with no markings whatsoever.
