Chernobyl, Ukraine: Chernobyl NPP, [2011?]. 11.5x16.5 inches, single sheet of coated stock folded into 8-page brochure, color photos, remains of horizontal fold across vertical leafs, some edgewear, else good condition.
Tourist brochure issued by the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant several years past the 1986 disaster, (it refers to the "former Soviet Union" and the disaster in the past tense). Includes glowing description of Slavutich, a town of 27,000, 50 kilometers east of Chernobyl NPP, well outside of the 30 km "zone of alienation" surrounding the disaster area, which goes unmentioned. Proudly notes that the plant is "an open site for the public" and that more than 3000 visitors annually visit the station and Slavutich.
