Hardcover. x, 262p., illustrated with one folded map bound in and a diagram; first edition of this much-reprinted text hardbound in beautiful waxed black cloth boards titled copperfoil in dust jacket. The book itself is immaculate: sound, clean, unmarked, while the (plain printed) dj has a sun-line, an old seller's label, an inch-long tear to front panel, a small chip to back panel; this jacket remain presentable. All in all a very good copy.

FYI, the reprints appear to have the same text (262p) but an altered title ("History of" &c).
