Boston: Benjamin Russell, publisher, 1793. Four-page newspaper, horizontal fold; appears to have been neatly disbound from a volume.
The Boston newspaper allied with the Federalists; cover stories on the Royal Humane Society meeting in London, local politics. On page three there is an advertisement offering sixteen dollars for the return of a runaway slave, with detailed physical description. Concludes with the plaintive line, "As the above Negro had no cause of absconding, if he will return to his master, he will be treated with that tenderness he ever has been."
