World War II Project [letter]

Single 8.5x11 inch open letter seeking funding for the project folded to 3.75x8.5 inches printed both sides with Project letterhead, also a reprinted column N.C. Gitz from Chicago's Reader reporting on the story of Berube's research, a 3.5x5.5 inch donation card with envelope and original mailing envelope with Berube's printed return addressed, unmailed copy, all very good condition.

Berube started the research in 1978 upon receiving a box of materials from gay soldiers in WWII. He eventually wrote and published "Coming Out Under Fire" based upon the research and toured with a slide/lecture program.
