Lesbian mother Jeanne Jullion lost her children [handbill]
Oakland: Jeanne Jullion Defense Fund, [1977]. 8.5x11 inch handbill, short closed tears at bottom edge, otherwise very good.
Jullion came out as a lesbian after having two children with an Italian husband, who obtained full custody because of her sexual orientation. She turned her battle for custody into a public movement in the late 1970s, and later wrote a book about it, 'Long Way Home: The Odyssey of a Lesbian Mother and Her Children.' This flyer outlines the case and announces a rally sponsored by the Committee for Justice for Tyrone Guyton in support of Jullion.
