[Rome]: Ministero delle Poste e delle Telecomunicazioni, 1958. Pamphlet. Actual stamps! 25 mounted postage stamps as dumb as US stamps, celebrating stuff like the hundredth anniversary of the first apparition of the Virgin to Bernadette. Item: small brown oblong folder fastened with a decorative cord (twined white green and red threads, of course), 5x8 inches, textured cream leaves each recto bearing one to three postage stamps under clear acetate, removable and re-insertable, each captioned with further text verso, all stamps present but an empty pocket inside front cover means something is missing (not a stamp, this pocket doesn't seem as if it would accommodate a stamp), the stamps are pretty, the folder is clean, sound and unmarked, as is.
