Berkeley: the staff, 1943. Hardcover. Unpaginated, printed on alkaline glazed paperstock, the usual yearbook format in 11x8 inch maroon oilcloth boards with minimal titling. A lengthy terminal section records senior wills: "Barbara Sinclair leaves...all of the boys gasping. Shirley Stout leaves her eyelashes to Elsie Borden." This year the senior play was Hart and Kaufman(sequence sic)'s "You Can't Take It with You". A nice production with tomato-red endsheets, no markings of any kind, an almost as-new copy. Find, laid in, two related ephemera, a folded program printed red and blue on buff stock, graduation exercises for this Feb 43 class, cover message: The Four Freedoms (of Speech, of Religion, from Want, from Fear -- and a Victory Parade program.
