Detroit: The Fifth Estate, 1968. Newspaper. 16p., folded tabloid, illus., toned, tiny chips at spine quarterfold, a few closed tears, a bit of dog-earing, mild fraying, else very good.
One of the first underground newspapers, Detroit's The Fifth Estate is still being published, against all odds. This issue is mostly given over to drug material (including a "Readers' Drug Quiz") and rock/blues (interviews with John Mayall & Buddy Guy, LP reviews of Hendrix, Byrds, the Kinks). Most political material is from LNS. Usual ads and ambiance of the era.
