Debates on ideological questions, party functioning and schisms, and discussion of world events at this tumultuous time for the socialist movement. Done as run-up for the 4th national convention of SA. Meant for internal circulation, with only authors' first names and last initials provided in most cases. Large proportion of contributors are from the San Francisco branch, the party base. Much discussion on Cuba, the San Francisco branch's tactics in Women's Liberation Struggles, and SA's relationship to the Fourth International.
