Dublin: Hodges, Figgis & Co., Ltd., 1903. Hardcover. First edition, with Dublin printer's emblem on copyright page, green cloth boards gilt, a pretty good copy. Details and faults: titlepage is a tipped-in cancel (done neatly, perhaps by the London publisher). Entire textblock is printed on mildly acidic laid-lined paperstock, presswork looks a little worn. Externally find some edgewear, and spine-title is dulled and dim. Square and fairly sound although the front hinge is wiggly, endsheets quite toned with a small inked ownership, find a short marginal tear and crease to leaf 5/6. On the plus side, a 4.5 inch-square corrigenda leaf (20 instances) is included, irritatingly tipped onto titlepage and obscuring it. All in all, a good (good-only) copy.
