London / New York: T. Fisher Unwin / Charles Scribner's Sons, 1913. Hardcover. First American edition: 361p., thick pulpy paperstock making for a thickish volume, blue cloth gilt with a gilded top edge; nice production. Somewhat edgeworn with bits of fray to the top rim, and small closed tears to both rims; foxing is pervasive and spots the text edges, all blanks, and some of the preliminary and terminal leaves. Both hinges are cracked but are holding well enough; a square, generally sound copy of an original edition (it was published in England, the US and in France), and a rather handsome book with bright gilt.
