Kansas City KS: Swift and Company, 1899. Pamphlet. 32p., a narrow, shirt-pocket notebook, softbound in 6x3 inch clothbacked wraps, partially filled in. Find a few printed pages of sales-talk, then lined blanks for user's notes through p.24, then further instructions and printed endorsements. Find only three page-long entries, unclear if strictly manure-purchase related, made in a shaky but literate hand, dated 1899/00; these holographed pages are also soiled with several dark smeary colors (quantity insufficient to boil for soup), the booklet's covers are crimped, a bit dirty, and bear an owner's name and location in Kansas City Kansas. A good-enough copy. NB, the printed text is aimed at California orchardists, orange and lemon growers especially.
