London: Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1952. Hardcover. Second printing of the British first issue, "physically very handsome to handle and to regard," per a review in The Scotsman; xxi, 500, ix, 501-1022p., two volumes in cinnamon-brown openweave cloth gilt, in dust jackets. The djs are a little edgeworn, both front free endpapers have an ownership stamp, v.1 bears instances of underlines (pencil) in early chapters, v.2 spine panel has a small shallow dent near the head, visible but not perturbing. A good-looking set in generally good condition.
