Spokane WA: The Associated Students of Gonzaga University, 1953. Yearbook staplebound in 16x11.5 inch silkscreen-decorated wraps. Unpaginated, something over one hundred leaves (200p.) More professionally edited than most such annuals; along with the usual mugshots arranged like bathroom tiling, the random-snapshot sections are laid out with national-magazine flair, and to the traditionally formatted materials there is joined a run of the school's weekly newsletter, again a soundly professional production. All text leaves are printed on coated alkaline paperstock and interspersed with textured matte chapter dividers. Internally quite good with occasional autographs in ink. Externally fair-only; the spine panel is burst in several spots and although the staples are holding well the torn spine is unsightly. Expect general rubbing and that the silkscreened surface has picked up mild dust-soil.
