Dr. Broom was a Scottish South African physician and paleontologist. This is an early lecture which led to his 1933 book "The Coming of Man:was it accident or design?" He was a critic of both Lamarck and Darwin and a proponent of "Spiritual Evolution" veering off from Bergson and leading toward Creation Science.
