Caxton in Focus; the beginning of printing in England
London: The British Library, 1982. 109p., fullpage and vignette b&w photos, a colorphoto section, features lots of info and detail we never knew before, a nice production in 9.5x6.5 inch boards gilt and glossy color dust jacket. Clean and sound, free of any markings, a very good copy.
Detective work and "forensic equipment" (infrared cameras, enlargments, the 'Video Spectral Comparator') inclines the author to believe parts of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales were the first productions.
