London: the journal, 1956. 88p., softbound, 10x7 inches, plain printed buff wraps. Heavily foxed along the foredge (only foredge, nowhere else), the spine panel is wrinkled with a half-inch burst at the head (now neatly repaired by yrs truly), otherwise mild handling- and dust-soil. Laid in are several publishers' adverts touting books-for-Christmas, one of these decorated by Saul Steinberg.
Cover features the Mary Cecil contribution, "Through the Looking-Glass," a stay in an asylum for the insane. Vidal offers a story, "A Moment of Green Laurel"
