Grisez adapts a then-current term, "Neo-Gnosticism", to label and account for "pseudosexual practices", itself a label he leaves obscurely defined as genital acts and one-word definitions. Possibly an early whiff of the broader RC scandal now partly opened: the Church's molesting clergy and its top-down permissions.
