Cuba and the Rule of Law

Geneva: Printed by H. Studer for the Commission of Jurists, 1962. Paperback. xv, 267p., paperbound in plain printed white wraps, 9x6 inches; except for a bit of toning and flecking, this first appearance is in its original state of issue. A very good copy.

..ICJ a "non-governmental organization which has Consultative Status, Category 'B', with the United Nations Economic and Social Council." The commission's membership roster consists of two dozen multi-cultural bigwigs, Lord Shawcross the only name familiar to this cataloguer. The study concludes that Cuba, once "rooted by its legal tradition and thought in the continental civil law system," is now under "a totalitarian machine based on alien ideology" (p.267).
