San Francisco: npub, 1970. Single 9.5x12.5 inch handbill printed on glassine paper with San Francisco artist Sam Smidt's riff on Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and text concerning the auction at bottom, very good.

The auction was held at Hansen-Fuller Gallery on May 31st, 1970 in support of the McGovern/Hatfield amendment for peace. Contributors included Smidt as well as John Battenberg, Fletcher Benton, Jose-Luis Cuevas, Kathleen Cohen et al. The image composites Vitruvian Man in black ink, with a red ink Peace Sign overlay centered at the navel.
