Hardcover. x, 367p., endpaper maps, color frontis ("colorized" by 19thC issuer, reproduced thus), foreword, appendixes, index, b&w plates (some tinted grey), all as called for, untrimmed edges, first edition one of a run of 500, bound in brick cloth boards and white openweave linen backstrip, paper spine label in two colors. Corner-tips are slightly turned, label mildly worn, faint aura of handling to casing with dust-soil to top edge, endsheets toned, front hinge lightly cracked and rear hinge cracked with parting of ffep from pastedown (this tightened up by yours truly, trust us, it's better now), paperstock throughout faintly rippled. All in all a pretty good copy of an especially nice Grabhorn, unmarked save for a small ownership blind-stamp on the second blank.
