Bellegarrigue was an anarchist who was involved in the French Revolution of 1848 and published "Anarchie, Journal de l'Ordre" among other anarchist periodicals and books. He disappeared presumed dead in Central America by the end of the 19th century. Corvus Editions published rare, forgotten books with an emphasis on Anarchism and radical writings. This piece was discovered in "Revue d'Aquitaine et du Languedoc" in 1862.
