Naga City, Philippines: Cecilio Publications, 1969-1977. Set of forty different Catholic Novenas (booklets containing special prayers offered over nine days), all in the local language, published by a press that describes itself on the covers of some of the booklets as “The home of Catholic books and Bicol novels.” We have seen six sets, all containing the same titles, which leads us to believe that this was likely considered a complete run at the time the sets were assembled. The earliest date found is 1969 and the latest is 1977, though most are undated. Average length is 12 to 16 pages each. Paper is evenly toned, the printing job sometimes crude, but otherwise generally in very good condition. Generally 5.5 inches tall, with width varying from 3.75 to 4.25 inches.
