Milwaukee: Gutenberg Publishing Co., 1938. Hardcover. 22 plates and 22 sheets plus cover sheet, 9.5x13 inches, several prints in color inks, bound with brass brads and leatherette tape into two wood veneer panels with a cover image by Sandzen, offsetting to top introductory sheet and margin of first print, both are lightly creased, the rest are very good, bright and clean, some light staining or discoloring to cover boards.
Examples: "Flame" by Rockwell Kent; "Aquarium" (in orange ink) by Albers. Only two holdings located in OCLC as of 12/2016 and those mistakenly call for 24 plates (assumption of two plates per month but two months are represented by one print and one sheet only) Each sheet has a calendar month at bottom - 10 of which take up two sheets - and a biographical sketch of the artist at top beneath his or her print. Only two sales at auction discovered.
