Hardcover. 53p., large quarto, original leaf from 1482 tipped-in, rubricated titles and initials, hand-tinted red initials in the original leaf, untrimmed 'deckled' fore edge, mild foxing to spine and leaf-mount page with some off-setting otherwise very good first edition limited to 2967 copies in cream cloth backing and brown paper boards with Caxton's device reproduced in facsimile on covers, very light wear to corners, tan paper title label on spine.
The leaf contains 8 red hand-tinted intitials. The gutter-edge slightly ragged with light toning on all margin edges, no tears or chips. Very scarce Grabhorn and Leaf Book.
