Unpaginated, letterpress on heavy watermarked stock ("Italia"), rubrications and rulings in blue, hardbound in linen-backed dove-grey paper over 11x7.5 inch boards with printed paper spine label. Laid in, printed on laid-lined paper, is Markham's 1915 note to Book Club honcho Albert M. Bender, requesting a one-word emendation of his 1899 original version. A good square copy, no.250 of 300, no ownership or other marks; spine label is very slightly edgeworn, top cover margins show a narrow line of light toning, generally "very good"
