Folio hardbound in 14x9.5 inch Fortuny boards and fabric spine titled red; fabric-covered slipcase. The true first issue, limited to 140 copies. Bound in, a plethora of samples. An entirely clean, perfect exemplar; slipcase has tiny snag at one corner; and, laid in, are perhaps twenty pieces of related ephemera, including two copies of the original prospectus, a prospectus for the 1985 reprint, several short holograph letters to subscriber by Lewis Allen, a TLs, invoices, printed catalog leaves showing huge increases on the secondhand market, even a cancelled check for original purchase.
